Other Helpful Hints
- Publishers can only choose between Max # of Ads OR Max Duration, as a configuration within Ad Pods. We do not support the ability to handle both settings.
- When selecting Max # of Ads, we allow up to a maximum of 10. However if publishers are sensitive to the issue of latency, we'd suggest starting out with a setting between 2-3 ads or 60-90 seconds for Max Duration.
- Please note that there is no "CLOSE" setting for Ad Pods. If you configure a placement without any "SKIP" options, and request for a Max of 3 ads, you're making users watch ALL 3 videos to completion before they can go back to app content.
- For Non-Premium Publishers, the logic that's used to construct the sequence of ads that appear in the ad pod is based on which ads will yield the most money for you, the publisher. Therefore any ad source priorities setting to the placement will not be honored.
- For Premium Publisher, ad source priorities will be honored, when constructing the sequence of ads that appear in the ad pod.
- Mediated SDK ad sources/adapters will not be supported inside of ad pods.
- VPAID ads will not be supported for Android Ad Pods.
- To be sensitive to the user experience, we do not advise that you run Ad Pods within a banner-sized placement as users will not be able to utilize the skip or countdown features of the Ad Pods overlay.
