How to Set Up the Smaato Ad Source

 

Step 1:   Log on to http://platform.aerserv.com/ and click on the Ad Sources link at the top of the page

Step 2:   Click the + or the Add New Ad Source button on the page

Step 3:   Enter a Name for the ad source (example: Smaato Interstitial)

Step 4:   Select Smaato as the ad source

Step 5:   Select Banner HTML, Interstitial HTML, Native, or Video in the Ad Type drop down menu

Step 6:   Enter the following fields that are specific to the Smaato ad source:

 

FIELD	DESCRIPTION	REQUIRED/OPTIONAL
Publisher ID	A unique numeric ID assigned to your publisher account	Required
Adspace ID	A unique numeric ID assigned to your adspace (placement)	Required
Ad Width	The width of your adspace	Required
Ad Height	The height of your adspace	Required

 

Step 7: Enter estimated CPM (e.g. 3.50). This value is used as the default CPM, not the floor.

Step 8: Select desired Placement

Step 9: Select Country or DMA targeting

Step 10: Select Device targeting

Step 11: Click Save

 

Locating the Smaato Credentials

Publisher ID,  Adspace ID, & Ad Dimensions

Step 1: In the Smaato dashboard, click on the Inventory (1) tab

Step 2: You will find your Publisher ID (2) under the company summary section

Step 3: Proceed to click on the desired App

Step 4: You will find your Adspace ID (3) under the Adspaces section

Step 5: Proceed to click on the desired Adspace's Cog icon (4)
