How to Set Up Ad Placements

Now that you've added your app...

Here's how to add ad placements to for your inventory.

Once you're done, the next step is to add ad sources.

For detailed instructions on How to Add an App/Site, please click here.

Step 1

Go to the "Inventory" tab in the nav bar and press the "+" icon next to the app you want to add an Ad Placement to.

Step 2

Specify the Ad Product that will be delivered to this new Ad Placement. For each ad product selected, a separate placement will be created.

The sections below will go into detail about how to complete each Ad Product form. To create multiple Ad Placements for a particular ad product, repeat the steps for each.

Native Ad Type Select from either Native Static or Native Video - this will determine which native assets your placement receives.
Native Assets NEW!

Select from either Default or Custom.

Selecting Default for Native Static will assign the following recommended values:

Title Field: 25 Character Max

Main Image: 200x200

Sponsored Field: 25 Character Max

Description Field

Selecting Default for Native Video will assign the following values:

Title Field: 25 Character Max

Mimes: video/3gpp, video/mp4

Min Duration: 5

Max Duration: 120

Sponsored Field: 25 Character Max

Selecting Custom for either type will allow you to specify which native assets you require and to be able to enter your own unique values for your aerNative placement.

Frequency Cap This feature allows you to set the max number of ads a user will see during a timeframe you specify.

Currency Name What is your virtual currency called? I.e. coins, gems, gold, etc.
Reward Amount  The amount of virtual currency the user receives when he or she is rewarded.
Serverside Callback

This setting determines how your app will be notified on a successful virtual currency rewarded event. For security purposes, we recommend selecting Client and Server callbacks. The Server callback should be used to reward the users within your Virtual Currency system whereas the Client callback gives your app information of the recently completed transaction.

NEW! Publishers now also have the ability to auto-generate, or manually create, a new secret key for Client & Serverside Callbacks. We recommend updating this secret key periodically for added security.
