How to Set Up the PubMatic Ad Source

 

Step 1:   Log on to http://platform.aerserv.com/ and click on the Ad Sources link at the top of the page

Step 2:   Click the + or the Add New Ad Source button on the page

Step 3:   Enter a Name for the ad source (example: PubMatic Video)

Step 4:   Select PubMatic as the ad source

Step 5:   Select Video or Banner HTML in the Ad Type drop down menu

Step 6:   Enter the following fields that are specific to the PubMatic ad source:

 

FIELD	DESCRIPTION	REQUIRED/OPTIONAL
Pub ID	A unique numerical string assigned to your PubMatic account.	Required
Site ID	A unique numerical string assigned to your site.	Required
Ad ID	A unique numerical string assigned to your ad unit.	Required

 

Step 7: Enter estimated CPM (e.g. 3.50). This value is used as the default CPM, not the floor.

Step 8: Select desired Placement

Step 9: Select Country or DMA targeting

Step 10: Select Device targeting

Step 11: Click Save

 

Locating the PubMatic Credentials

Pub ID, Site ID, and Ad ID

Step 1: Navigate over to the Inventory & Rules > Sites & Tags page

Step 2: Select the Ad Tags tab

Step 3: Checkmark the desired ad tag and select Download Selected Tag Codes

Step 4: Once the tag code is finished downloading, open the .txt file

Step 5: You will find your Pub ID (1), Site ID (2), and Ad ID (3) here
