Setting Up Chartboost API Reporting

3rd Party API Reporting - Background

This feature allows AerServ to pull in metrics and data from your 3rd party mediated ad sources. These metrics are used to update your AerServ reports, ensuring you have the most accurate and comprehensive view of revenue performance in a central location.

For more information about 3rd Party API Reporting, please see the Setting Up 3rd Party API Reporting Wiki.

In order to set up 3rd Party API Reporting in AerServ for Chartboost Mediation Ad Network, you will need to retrieve the following reporting credentials from the Chartboost Interface.

Required Credentials:

  • User ID
  • User Signature
  • App ID

Here are some tips for finding these reporting

credentials within the Chartboost interface

User ID

TLDR:  Chartboost Dashboard > Tools > API Explorer > "User ID"

From the Chartboost Dashboard, select "Tools" from the menu on the lefthand side, then "API Explorer." Your User ID will be located under the "Authentication" section.

User Signature

TLDR:  Chartboost Dashboard > Tools > API Explorer > "User Signature"

From the Chartboost Dashboard, select "Tools" from the menu on the lefthand side, then "API Explorer." Your User Signature will be located under the "Authentication" section.

App ID

TLDR: Chartboost Dashboard > Apps > Select App > App Settings > Basic Settings > "App ID"

From the Chartboost Dashboard, select "All Apps" from the top of the menu on the lefthand side, then select your desired app. From the app menu on the lefthand side, select "App Settings" then "Basic Settings." Your App ID will be on the next screen under the App Icon.

To ensure you receive the most accurate data from AerServ 3rd Party API Reporting, please do not reuse an App ID coupled with the same Ad Location(s) for other ad networks or mediation platforms. Publishers must use a unique App ID and unique Ad Location per app for AerServ only. Reusing these values will result in low integrity data and potentially overinflated impressions and revenue that you will see within the AerServ reporting console.
